A decade as New Zealand’s leading magazine focusing on cafes, restaurants and the coffee industry has built up a very strong distribution for Café magazine. It is on-sale nationwide, has a substantial subscriber base, and each issue is sent out regularly to around 3,000 cafes and companies associated with the café industry.
An industry survey in 2005 asked those associated with the coffee industry for their favourite magazine and Café magazine came out on top, named by 33% of those polled as their favourite “at home” or “industry” reading. The magazine that was named second favourite received a 23.6% response, while all other magazines were in single figures.
Published quarterly Café magazine’s wide distribution draws a big readership. It is on sale in around 1,000 magazine outlets including Whitcoulls and Paper Plus, at supermarkets such as New World, and in selected dairies and specialist outlets. |
