For 25 uninterrupted years, Radio One 91FM has been the stroppy mouthpiece of the cultural pioneers, pop vultures and future leaders of the Deep South, set against an evolving backdrop of the finest musical offerings, from the vaults of yore through to the distant future. Transmitting terrestrially on 91FM since 1984, and now into space and time at www.r1.co.nz.
The Onecard, Radio One’s annual subscriber card, has a current membership of 3,500 and annually over fifty local businesses buy into the scheme, offering discounts to subscribers and point of sale presence for Radio One 91FM - and potentially you and your business. The Onecard also gets you into Onefest for free; four nights of concerts starring groundbreaking local, national and international acts. Each Onefest draws another wave of faithful to Radio One.

Audience
Otago is a thriving hub of our future doctors, lawyers and professionals, with big dreams and the capacity to spend well beyond their means. But it’s not just students listening in, Radio One’s bond with the wider community is also strong. So, while the station is embedded in the heart of the student quarter, it is reaching the ears and pockets of chunk of wage-earning young professionals as well. Advertising space is limited to six minutes per hour, so putting your business on the air immediately gets you more attention than deep-fried saturation
that is commercial radio advertising.
